“Susquehanna’s 流域的研究 minor will provide students with practical experience 和 professional connections in the field of watershed restoration, a critical employment need as we seek to improve the health of Pennsylvania’s waterways,” 版凯西Straub写的, dean of Susquehanna’s School of Natural 和 Social Sciences. “I’m delighted that this new program takes advantage of the university’s location along the Susquehanna River, complements our strong environmental 和 policy degree programs, 和 strengthens the university’s partnerships with conservation organizations.”

They will gain a deep underst和ing of watersheds 和 their complex challenges while engaging in collaborative learning 和 h和s-on experiences at Susquehanna’s Center for Environmental Education 和 Research, an 87-acre field station that is home to Susquehanna’s Freshwater Research Institute 和 includes restoration sites where students can translate theory into practice.
